Merav Berkeley is a contemporary painter working primarily in oil and acrylic, known for quiet, light-filled compositions that draw equally from landscape and interior life. Her paintings begin with close observation — a shift in afternoon light, the texture of a worn tabletop, the horizon at low tide — and build outward into compositions that favor restraint over spectacle.
Trained in classical painting technique and shaped by more than a decade of daily studio practice, Merav's work has been shown in galleries and private collections across the country. Each piece is painted by hand, signed, and dated, with no editions or reproductions offered — every canvas that leaves the studio is the only one of its kind.
She currently works from her studio, taking on a limited number of commissions each year alongside her gallery collection.
